AndRena Nikol's leather accessories are handmade in the USA, in the heart of Texas. AndRena's bags and cuffs combine rugged urban design with exotic leathers and bold colors. Feminine details meet tough hardware to create a line that is edgy yet feels and looks luxe.
We sat down with AndRena Johnson, designer of AndRena Nikol to ask her some questions about her up and coming brand.
Even though we are in the throes of the transition from Fall to Winter (in the Northern Hemisphere anyways), that doesn't mean we can't start dreaming of next spring and all the fashion possibilities that could bring.
Pantone has released their top colors for next season allowing us this bit of fantasy and respite. And the palette they've selected is in itself dreamy, muted and ethereal but also balanced with brights and down to earth classics, allowing us to soar into ultra-femininity on those days we feel light and effervescent, but then on the days we are feeling more anchored to reality there are colors that allow us to be more utilitarian.
There is also no reason we can't start incorporating some of these colors into our fall/winter palette through accessories such as scarves and hats or a bright fuzzy sweater.

Slow fashion is a way to "identify sustainable fashion solutions, based on the repositioning of strategies of design, production, consumption, use, and reuse, which are emerging alongside the global fashion system, and are posing a potential challenge to it." -Wikipedia

The headwear we spotted on the Autumn/Winter 2019 runways was so good, we had to share some of our faves with you. How do you say no to animal prints and veils? The designers upped the drama quotient and we have to say, we approve! We think you will too. Click on the link for the highlights.
The Autumn/Winter 2019 bag trends have landed and we wanted to share the highlights with you. There are some return trends carrying over from Spring but also some surprising new trends that will pique your interest. Bags ran from super functional sporty styles to geometric and structured handbags that made an artistic statement. And the biggest (or smallest!) surprise of all was the 'micro' bag trend. One thing we can say is our love of handbags has not been diminished once we saw these new bags trends, quite the contrary. Have a look!
When you walk into a retail environment that is diffusing oils or burning high quality candles, this can immediately shift your mood and your desire to stay in that store. The goal is ultimately to have customers feel relaxed and comfortable in your store. Sharing natural products with them and dialoguing about natural ingredients is a great way to connect beyond the traditional retail banter. To read more click the link below.

The SS19 Couture fashion shows have just ended so we thought this would be the perfect time to review the most impactful ladies' accessories trends for the season. One thing we noticed is how much ornamentation and flare all the collections had. It was a veritable cornucopia of color, flounce and femininity. There was not much minimalism or restraint, instead it was more about volume, whether it be in the size of the ruffle or the brightness of the color. We've put together a pictorial of the best of the best, so click on the link and prepare to be inspired!
The SS19 Couture fashion shows have just ended so we thought this would be the perfect time to review the most impactful trends for the season. There was a distinctly utilitarian and outdoorsy feel, across many brands. Tailoring went in some interesting directions. What we think of as a 'suit' is going a more casual route. And the boundaries of what is acceptable as a men's bag are being pushed. We've put together a pictorial of the best of the best, so click on the link and enjoy the feast for your eyes!
Pantone has declared the color trend for 2019 to be Living Coral, an animating
and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.
The color is vibrant yet warm at the same time, allowing it to be worn head to toe as a bold statement or as shot of color in accessories like shoes or handbags. This color features prominently in makeup trends as well. It can also be worn in jewelry as coral is a well known material that has been used for thousands of years in ornamentation and sacred objects.
We are excited about this color trend since one of our brands, FARRA Jewelry, prominently features natural coral in its designs.
